Not only do we refurbish ‘tired’ mannequins when they’ve been subjected to a few hard knocks in store, but photographer Bruce Hepburn (www.astrapics.co.za) has found another creative way to breathe fresh life into them by merging old Mannequin Works heads with the eyes of a real model. For our co-founder, Rory, creating art has always been a passion and when he’s not designing products for Mannequin Works’ customers, you’ll find him in his home studio. His happiest time is spent there and he’s just as comfortable sketching in charcoal or painting in oils as he is sculpting and casting into bronze.
